Darren has also highly experienced in the preparation of applications through the family class, including sponsorship of spouses and common-law partners from inside and outside Canada, as well as sponsorship of children and parents and the sponsorship of other relatives through humanitarian and compassionate grounds. He also assists clients in appeals work, enforcement work, the submission of applications to Federal Court, and he has appeared at the Immigration Division and the Immigration Appeals Division.

After gaining experience at a leading Vancouver immigration firm, Darren ventured into independent practice, founding his own law firm in late 2019. Darren’s key strength is the ability to problem-solve and find creative solutions when faced with unique or difficult situations. He believes that providing sound, competent legal services is just one part of what it takes to build a lasting client relationship. His approach puts the client in the driver’s seat, with an emphasis on listening to and understanding client objectives, providing a quick response to enquiries and concerns, and of course providing excellent legal services to his clients.
